Any suggestions, tips, or tricks for assembling a set of Washington quarters? They are in 2x2s right now but eventually I will move them to dansco album.

I'd suggest using a Whitman Album. You can get one from 1932 to about when they started the State Ones. Or get a blank Quarter one and make your own.

Are you collecting the silver, clad, statehood, ATB or a mix of all of them. I'm doing a set from 1932 to 1998 and it is REALLY addicting! If your set is higher grade, I would recommend a Dansco album, but if it is circulated stuff, a whitman folder should be fine.
Rest in Peace

, With Carl, The blue pages of Whitman albums show off silver coins better than the tan Danscos .

Right now I am focusing on the silver 1932-1964 issues but I will work my way up to 1965-1998, the State Quarters and ATB eventually.

Thanks Gr58. Why would you need to upgrade your Washington quarter album though?

Why would I upgrade.

Every once in awhile I look through my Washington 32 - 98 and my
Jefferson 38 - 2012 album.

I look for coins that I think could be better. I will than check out local coin
shops and ebay to see if better coins are available ... at a good price.

Getting hard to find better coins for my Jefferson album.

But the Washington album have several that stick out. My first page,
I would be happy If all the coins were XF to AU ... there are three that
stick out. The second page has a few that just don't match up .. as far
as a certain look.

Oh, good - I am glad I am not the only one that does that!
