I got this beauty today in a "America's Obsolete" set. I'm not 100% it's a DDO but it's a nice coin either way. I dreamed it up Coop.

Does not look like one. It is reprocessed and can sometimes have that look

Reprocessed cents aren't as valued by collectors as unaltered cents. They look nice and shiny, but the original luster is destroyed. They are circulated cents with a face lift!

Not a DDO and it's been reprocessed effectively ruining all value.

Only worth a penny.

This one was plated. Most of the time they look a bit lighter in color, but this one looks chromed. Not a DDO as mentioned.

Plated, and not a DDO. Keep searching, and don't get discouraged! It took me up to a year and a half to finally stop looking for gems where there's nothing and to finally find a good DDO. If you can't see anything under 10x magnification, it probably isn't worth anything
