The scratches are on the plastic and on the head of this Barber dime. Looks better with colorful toning and full luster in person. Grade? It's hard to tell with the scratched plastic. I'll see if I can take it out tomorrow. Thanks! This is a different shot of the same coin at a different lighting angle. It shows the nice toning and again, the large scratches on the head and neck are plastic, not the coin.

Sorry, I have to strip the orientation tag put on by my phone every time. Once I take the zilion screws off to take the coin out of the plastic it will be beautiful. The coin has beautiful surfaces.

Now I'm hot and bothered about seeing that dime out of that plastic.
Looks high EF, but still details for a previous cleaning, although the second set of photos doesn't show as much damage from the cleaning. May retone, too.
