We do need both sides of the coin to do a grade right, but I'll say VF20

Sam...

Have a view of all the coins in here for grading..

You can't expect to get a proper grade on anything using a scan..It just doesn't work..

Reflections are wrong..you can't see the fields properly..and on and on and on..

It's a lost cause trying to grade a scanned coin for valuation here..

I agree with DEVLEC; scans are useless, particularly for MS coins.

That being said, this coin looks like a VF30 to me; mayyyyybe an EF40.

With all of the weak strikes, these are tough to grade, this could sit anywhere from a vf20 to ms60 depending on TPG. I think with the wear on the obverse leaves, it is probably in the vf30-ef40's range. I had an au50 from NGC with more wear on the jewels than you do. It took a lot of hunting to get a "fullish" band for this year. Some photos could be really nice.

VF30
That coin has been around the block a few times.

@coinfrog, there traditionaly is no VF25 in Canadian grading it's strictly American.

Yeah, scans don't really do a coin justice.

But, looks VF-30 ish.

VF30. If there wasn't the rim bump at 7 o'clock on the obverse then EF40 IMO.

Question. Does "scan" literally mean putting a
coin on a scanner , closing the lid and pushing the button?
