I had seen several posts regarding silver or steel 1958-D's before. Magnification makes this pretty obvious.

If it is slightly magnetic, is probably nickel plated. That was covered in another thread where I learned that, never knew nickel was! Ive found a '45P, 61D and dateless that way CRH/Bulk hunting. Poor little things, nobody wants 'em!
