A troy ounce is 31.1035 grams. At 3 9s, you need to weigh 31.1346346 to get that troy ounce of silver (ASW) At 4 9s, you need to weigh 31.10661066 to get that troy ounce 5 9s is 31.103811038 The difference between 3 9s and 4 9s is 0.0280239 which is just BARELY at the limit of accuracy of most scales you can buy (+/- 0.02 or 0.01g) without spending a ton.
