I just checked Copper Coins for you, and the only doubled dies listed for 1955 S involve doubling of Lincoln's eyelids. Report this Post to the Staff

I do kid around a bit, and it was pointed out that newer members might not know that yet. I just wanted to make it clear: I was kidding with you, not laughing at you! Here's a bit of background info to get you started: http://coppercoins.com/advsearch.php This is the website I use to check for varieties on cents. Just input the year, mint, and either leave it unchecked for all errors (doubled dies, repunched mint marks, etc) or click off one specific error type. The wikipedia article is a great beginning resource for error coins.
