To me this looks like an 1830 or 1832 1 Real of Go mint, moneyer MJ, but I suppose it could be 1833 too. Can anyone help me nail it down? It also looks like a possible overdate, complicating it even further.

(Yes, it's "well-traveled, but for $2.00, I'm not going to argue condition!)

The only valid possible dates in the '30s for Go-MJ are 1830-1833.

I vote for 1830, medium size assayer initials. A binocular microscope might pull out the date.
