actually it was from 2018
Topic was started in 2008 and most of the posts are from then. Bobby resurrected it in 2018 after the coin was graded.

This was a fun read (but long). Original images are on pg 9. Slabbed images on pg,20, and Bobby's consolidated images are on pg.21

Question? Doesn't the "additional" neck and ponytail indicate it was triple struck? There also appears to be an additional "T" below TRUST.

For future reference Eel, download WEBP Converter in the app store, select the picture, and click advanced options, and then downsize however much you want, it does it automatically

If someone at the mint did this intentionally as opposed to it being naturally occurring does that lower its value? I view people as being a part of the process just the same as machines so in my opinion its just as valid. I remember not too long ago the guy who ran the mint died and in his safety deposit box were just 4 coins....all 2 headed quarters. They were given to his kids

Hello Again!

I just wanted to let everyone know the coin is now listed on the Heritage Auctions website, and will be at the "FUN Auction" in Orlando, Fl. starting 14 January 2026.

Why do we have 2 different conversations on this same quarter, both now getting the same replies?

How about we just concentrate on one of these 2 topics, and carry on from there and close down the other one?

Here is the end of the other topic: https://goccf.com/t/474702&whichpage=4#4396919
