Awesome Liberty, ranks up near the top for one of the best designs
on a hunk of gold ( and silver ) ever in my opinion.

I agree. I have the silver medals. Two of them. S & W.

Mintage is really low. I probably should have posted them on the 8th.

Thank you everyone for a great 49 Days coin show!
All of the coins were great!
Here are the firetrucks and the end of my parade.
I only missed 1 day because I don't have an Early Dollar.
There has been a 50th Day added for Fantasy Coins so see you tomorrow with those!

Royal Mint
The Sovereign Mintmark Collection

This 7 gold coin set confuses me but I like it. It states these are assembled with actual coinage meant for circulation so I am thinking these dates are accurate and the coins are really that old. The COA states this and also says that they are in at least VF condition, however these all appear to be in uncirculated condition without any super close examination. They are all pleasing examples.

I thought they would have a date on them for 2000 or something since the booklet is copyrighted as such. This is set number 819 out of the total 958 sets that were assembled by The Royal Mint.

One 1925 dated London Mint sovereign (no mintmark).
One 1925 dated sovereign from the Sydney Mint in Australia (mintmark S).
One 1925 dated sovereign from the Melbourne Mint in Australia (mintmark M).
One 1919 dated sovereign from the Perth Mint in Australia (mintmark P).
One 1911 dated sovereign from the Ottawa Canada Mint (mintmark C).
One 1918 dated sovereign from the Bombay India Mint (mintmark I).
One 1925 dated sovereign from the Pretoria South Africa Mint (mintmark S.A.)

I have read that some sets were assembled and had duplicate mintmark coins. I guess I got lucky, these do have the mintmarks in the order that I have listed them.
Each coin is 22 mm and has a fineness of 22 kt and a weight of 7.98 grams

22 kt gold 39.94 grams 36.02 mm diameter

1990 United Kingdom Gold Proof Sovereign Four Coin Collection.
Set no. 1539 of 2500 sets
The mintages are higher for individual coins.

Contains 22 kt gold fineness
5 Pound Proof 39.94 grams
Double Sovereign Proof 15.98 grams
Sovereign Proof 7.98 grams
Half Sovereign Proof 3.99 grams
I do believe a gold plated silver medallion dated 1990 is in here. Feels heavy?

1997 Britannia Gold Proof Collection

Set No 84 of 1500 total sets
Again the mintages are higher for individual coins but I have the mintages on these.
1 oz Britannia .999 fine gold weight 34.050 grams total minted 2500
1/2 oz. Britannia .999 fine gold weight 17.027 grams total minted 1500 ( unsure of this mintage figure )
( I don't find any info on half ounce singles being made other than for this set. )
1/4 oz. Britannia .999 fine gold weight 8.513 grams total minted 4000
1/10 oz. Britannia .999 fine gold weight 3.412 grams total minted 6500

My only qualifying low-mintage World coin is a 100 Zlotych "75th Anniversary of Breaking Enigma Codes" commemorative, 2007 Poland, with 8000 mintage. I have the silver and copper editions as well, but those mintages are higher (and I don't have pictures yet). I love the theme and especially the design -- so many letters and concentric circles.
