I believe I found a 1962 D with a Cud maybe the VLDS of the CU-5c-1962D-02 on cudsoncoins

Of course huh I found the date and mint mark of a Cud on the two I thought I had something lol I was like it all checks out maybe just more happened I was hoping the rim was from when it left the mint cause the side of the coin looks good no contact marks so it must have hit only the top part thanks better luck next time I guess

Yea, definite moving hit on rim, last pix shows slicing motion.

Then the flat spot on reverse directly behind it on the rim I thought it all was adding up

I imagine that all happened at once - if you notice on the reverse the M and field right below it also took hits from whatever hit into the nickel's rim.
