I believe the second pic is FS-801 DDR-043.

What might what's happening with the fingers be called?

The "thing " with the fingers appears to be die deteriorstion on stinkin zincins. It seems to be taking that dimpling effect. I have been noticing that more and more on the darn worthless zincoln. I think it has something to do with plating, zinc core and how deterioration shows up on the VLDS coins. I think I may use you pic in a question I have for some experts if you don't mind.

Getting the "Finger" is a nice DDR. This ia the one you have:

Crazyb0 put a pic of a different DDR. Gregory's coin has the extra finger end directly to the left of the thumb tip, while 1DR-082 extra finger ends below the thumb tip.

It's not 1DR-082 but is very similar.
