Hi all,
Just a quick question for those in the know. What can I expect to pay for an uncut sheets of 40, 1989 $10 notes from the Birds of Canada series.

Thanks

hard to say, is the sheet in mint condition, is it folded, rolled or framed?

at minimum $400 (face value)

If you can get the serial numbers and who signed the bills, then you can go to coinsandcanada.com to see if any are worth a premium.

if it was not framed I would not buy it for more than face. but that is my opinion.

Hi Len :)

Sheets of 1973 $1's go for around $200 and sheets of 1986 $2's go for around $300. And they are fairly common.

The $5 and $10 sheets are quite scarce. Book value is $1,000 in AU for a sheet of 10's, but I've never seen one for sale for that low.

I've never owned a sheet of $5's. I've only ever handled two sheets of 10's. The last one I sold was for $1,350+tax if memory serves me right.
