No, just a two digit note.
A two digit repeater would be ABABABA.
The asterisk does make it a replacement note though.

Listed in my 2012 Charlton as Bank of Canada BC-37bA. I would hazard a grade of VG, at best FINE for yours, which lists at $7 Cdn. I wouldn't expect the value to have risen since 2012.

Todays book value is still the same. If you find the right person maybe more.

That's a nice number: multiple "0's" & "8's" makes it a nice fancy number (a 2 digit -3 digit repeater I believe). IMO: definitely would go for more than $7.00 book value if you got the right buyer.
