Slider23 Pillar of the Community United States 4469 Posts	Posted 04/16/2018 12:41 pm For grade and comments, I picked this 1883 up for the typical auction price for the grade. The obverse show nice luster with some gold toning. The reverse has some gold toning, but the luster is muted in the center of the coin from the darker toning. I have been looking for a Shield with some nice toning and eye appeal, and it appears to be a hard combination to find on a Shield nickel. Report this Post to the Staff
