Ok first off I agree with the comments, this information is awesome!. I have been collecting for at least 20yrs, and there was a lot of off time during that. Searching for error/variety coins takes a good eye, clear pictures for identification and specifically a sound knowledge base. I consider myself still to be a novice collector after all this time due to the knowledge base. I can identify a lot however due to my limited knowledge of how dies work I also get tripped up thinking I have a winner. It is a time saver if you have a clear picture of what to look for and what Errers has posted here will guide the hunt. Keeping us more so away from the let down after posting "wanna be" pics of throw away coins. Having said that I am a firm believer of posting the questionable but maybe this education can save the novice more time for a good hunt.
