I found this in a circulated bankroll, from a bank box of U.S. Pennies. I was wondering if someone can help me ID it? These pictures were taken at night, so that's why it's a little dark, so no complaining.

This example is EDS.

Perhaps an over polished die example of that one.

Haha! Well, you're technically correct on that. The doubled finger is his index finger.

Thank you da Swampster! It's definitely one of the better DDR's.

Believe it or not, the original listing called them double thumbs, until I pointed out they were index fingers. Then they changed them.

That's pretty funny they thought they were double thumbs, until you told them.

That's what the light switch on your scope is for!

Haha! I should have known that. Not bad, considering that the pictures were taken at night.

Edit: If anybody can ID the DDR for me, that would be great.

I'm thinkin' it may be a new variety, E&V.. The closest I can make it is WDDR-016, but I don't think so.. I'm fairly lousy with 'scope photos though -- easily slide into 2-D & flip-flop incuse / relief..

Well there are a "TON" of varieties within that finger DD - now how exactly did all those varieties happen? Coop needs to join in.

Thank you CoinCents! I will definitely send this to John A. Wexler sometime next month with my next batch of coins I'll send. I'll update this post when I get the news back from Wexler. As of right now, I have shipped a package out 3 days ago on Wednesday, containing 5 Doubled Dies in them.

Unfortunately, John A. Wexler is very busy and he said that he has received my package in the lengthy processing line. He also said that the turnover time will be most likely 4 to 6 weeks, since he's super busy. I will still do an update, but it will take awhile for my package to come back.
