I think I finally found one of the infamous 1969s pennies that someone tampered with. I just had to post it!

It's just PMD (post mint damage). Not a mint error. Worth face value, unfortunately.

The date does appear to be damaged.

It is not the DDO.

It's not that DDO. Just a heavily beat and damaged coin. It's Post Strike Damage.

@ OP , A normal 1969-S Lincoln as yours, is not a sort after coin . I'm sure you were thinking of the 69-S DDO . Too bad , only worth one cent .
