Hello. I am new at Coin Forum site and new at coin hunting. I would like to know what I stumble across during pocket change search. Any information will be appreciated it. Thank you.
@angleina, first welcome to CCF. Second, while often times missing design elements can be an indication that a coin was struck through a grease-filled die, in your case this coin looks like one side has been preferentially worn down as the obv rim is missing as well. I'm not 100% sure about this and will be interested to read what others think as they weigh in on this thread.
