Hey this is my Jefferson nickel I would like some advice on. Help with what grading it might be and also tips on how to better photograph would be appreciated ( images taken with a flashlight and IPhone X) I'm new to these forums and will in future be posting other coins in collection thanks.
Good photos, but not quite sharp enough to judge FS or not. If you plan to do a lot of grading, it would be a good investment to get a $10 LED lighted 30x jewelers loupe off of ebay or Amazon. Just hold it right up to the camera lens and take photos through that.
Back on subject, I think I see some flat spots. FS is a pretty exclusive designation; even the smallest flat spot will bar it.
Good looking Nickel. I believe it is a proof, so it should have FS. You can tell by the polished look. Typically a business strike will be not as reflective. But I would wait to hear from the experts. I'm always wrong.
thanks for the advice about the jewelers loupe I believe the slight blemishes visible may be a camera issue I will try and get a better quality shot of the steps and post
