I recently got this coin. quite scratched, but the lettering stands out rather well.
width at widest is 15mm, narrowest 13mm. I don't have scale so I cant give the weight, sorry for the poor image quality too (if anyone has any photographing tips that don't require a big setup I'm all ears!).

Your coin appears to be a Mamluk fractional dirham. These small coins were struck from dies intended for full dirhams. Thus, only a small portion of the design appears on any given coin. On this piece (first photo, upside-down) I can read what I believe is ...[al-mans]ur [say]f al-dunya wa al-[din]..., titles of Qala'un (al-Mansur Sayf al-Din), 1279-1290. The position of words relative to one another in the die and the decorative elements are similar to full dirhams of Qala'un struck at Cairo as depicted in Balog.
