I found this coin on a flea market in Amsterdam. As someone who is very new to numismatics, I would very much like to hear your opinion.
The only readable text above the portrait said: AVG. GER...
This lead me to believe that this was a coin struck in the name of an emperor (as he used 'AVGVSTVS') who used 'Germanicus' as part of his title.
I only know of Julio-Claudian emperors using this victory title, but perhaps this is just a combination of limited knowledge and wishful thinking...
