Kushanshah Pillar of the Community United States 1554 Posts	Posted 10/23/2018 2:06 pm The coins of Muzaffar II and Muzaffar III are very similar. Both are named al-sultan Shams al-Din Muzffar. The coins of Muzaffar II tend to have shorter legends and I was able to match the style to the photo in Goron & Goenka. The date is also clue but only the 9 is fully visible. The 2 is very weak. If you are genuinely interested in this series, Goron & Goenka's The Coins of the Indian Sultanates is invaluable. Price US$75 or so. If you need help with Persian and Arabic legends, I heartily recommend Arabic Coins and How to Read Them by Richard Plant.
