Hello I have a roll of uncirculated 1964 D nickels and I need opinions please , I know there is MD but I also see some doubling . Thanks for looking.

Only MD on the devices, quite common on those Nickels due to a worn dies.

On the stars that is die wear. Note how it starts on the fields and drifts in the direction of the closest rim. So you have a coin that was struck with an aged die and received a push from the dies called Machine Doubling. It is also a high bounce that altered the upper part of the devices. The bottom remains untouched, leaving upper half reduced with a push in a common direction on most of the devices on your coin. It happens.

Is that what causes those striations on the coin just inside the rim moving outward . I see that a lot on coins especially 1964 year nickels
