Other coin was just to compare...but the one on the left doesn't appear to be dipped in acid...or may be copper?

I need closer images to see what is going on. Also weight of the red coins would be a plus. If both coins are the same weight, then it might be copper plated.

No. Just a spender. But if it is missing a cladding, that is a plus for the coin. The devices should be weak and the weight should be reduced.
