Good morning everyone. I found this going through some vending machine change yesterday. I have only found a few of these around that year, other than a 1994 LMC (Lower/B and 1st 9 in date) so I thought I'd share it with you.....

That would be called a Die Chip caused by a broken die post. I actually have one from the same year as yours as well.

Yep, die chip, got a bunch of those in late LWC. I actually got one that has the 9 filled along with the B, wondering if that's enough for a premium? When would a die chip be considered to have a premium?

IMHO, only when you can convince someone that it is both uncommon and special, such as by giving it a name (hornet's nest, skirted R, BIE, etc.)

Alright, I'll do some research on the types of die chips found in the LWC's. Maybe later I will post some and let you guys decide if they have a specialty to them.
