I thought Cherry Picked was at a coin show, where you pick through a selection of several coins in a container ? Can someone tell me where the Big Auction Site is ? Dan Report this Post to the Staff

Jadey Pillar of the Community United States 900 Posts	Posted 05/18/2019 5:31 pm I think of the term cherry-picked to refer to any coin that was not properly or fully attributed. If you see a 1909 LWC advertised on ebay, and you notice a VDB on the reverse. I would say that if you won that auction for a 1909 price, then you have cherry picked a VDB.
