I just acquired these two Byzantine Bronze coins which I believe to be Decanummiums of Justinian I (527-65CE). The first measures 22mm and weighs 3.88 grams. the Second measures 19mm and weighs 3 grams.

The first features the emperor standing on the obverse and a large "I" on the reverse with stars to the left and the right. While the mint mark "CON" is quite clear, I do not see a listing on wildwinds for this obverse paired with this reverse containing the "CON" mintmark.

The Second features a bust of the emperor right with a similar reverse to that of coin number 1. The reverse has a large "I" but it has "ANNO" to the left and the date in roman numerals to the right. I am having trouble reading the mintmark and finding a match on wildwinds.
Any help with these two would be appreciated!

Coin one is Justin II SB 362, and the other appears to be Justinian I but I make out the reverse detail.

echizento - Great! Thank you very much for your help.

Any guesses about the mint mark on the reverse of coin #2? Thanks.

Looks like CON to me.

I'd be more interested in what the Roman numerals are, but I don't think they're determinable; the coin looks pretty badly dinged on that side.

I can't tell for sure but if that's the case it would be SB 167.
