Found this quarter not sure if this is an error coin? If so what kind of error? Or is it simply some wear and tear due to the age? Sorry these are the best pictures I could get. Thanks for any input

I don't think it's an error, I tho k it's just damage, but wait for more knowledgeable members, they'll help!

Quite possibly an acid dipped coin.

Thanks everybody for all the input. I'm pretty new hear but I have to say this is an awesome community of people. It's so nice to be able to post a question and get nice genuine responses even if it may be an obvious or stupid question.
