GrapeCollects Pillar of the Community United States 8939 Posts	Posted 09/22/2019 04:44 am @Gincoin & greasy, pay close attention. The obverse is VLDS notice how the stars flow into the rim? The denticles being part of the die are subject to die wear as well. Based on that, if the die reaches a late enough die stage without failure the denticles could completely disappear. The reverse is MDS, so it would have stronger rims. Report this Post to the Staff

My coin seems to match the Overton 110 coins a lot, both in the weak to no denticles on the obverse and where the strike is weak on the reverse. Report this Post to the Staff
