This coin is getting into the "collectible" condition. It's a style that's obsolete and it's in really nice shape. It does look like it's had some contact with oily fingers, because I see finger prints in the fields. The areas that have been touched are toning, so this coin would be considered Red/Brown.

Even though this coin is in uncirculated condition, it's only worth a couple of dollars, mainly because there are many, many 1957-D minted cents in better condition. It's not one for grading, but it's a "keeper" and should be put in a 2x2 to protect it from damage.

To me, this looks closer to AU-58, with very little premium.
