I've recently acquired some mint sewn bags various dates and mint marks... Does anyone know if its possible to find the pennies in the bag with fingerprint marks on them? I have found a few this way. The bag in question is from the 1960's

Yes, the coins in mint sewn bags can have fingerprints on them.
Do you have any images of the bags to share from before they were opened?

Asked and answered by yourself.

Unless the bags were directly from the mint, you're likely to find just about anything on the coins, including, yes, fingerprints.

I searched a mint sewn bag of 1974-D LMC (still have all of them around) and found several with large purple fingerprints on several of the coins.

This was the strangest mint sewn bag I've ever seen. It had 5624 coins, major clash / over polish dies on all coins, fingerprints, lots of die pairs and the coin were too thick. I have one graded by ANACS as "MS-66 Red Over Polished Dies."

I actually posted about it way back in 2011 on CCF.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

Ok, here you go. We have a 1966 1c Mint Sewn bag. We have opened just one side to gain access to the treasures within. In the first 300 we have found what we think are two new varieties of a DDR. Based on the light coloring under the stitch, I am inclined to believe it's a true mint sealed bag.

We are currently looking through a 1992 D 1c bag, and we have a 1964 1c bag still not open.

We have been in contact with James Wiles (Variety Vista), and in the near future we look forward to sending him our finds for consideration.
