Au 55 sold for 196$ 2007 hmmmm a spender I think not

BU rolls of 1963-D cents sell for $4 to $5. At 8 to 10 cents for a BU (MS-63 or better), any circulated 1963-D is a spender.

Just search 1963 d penny, id be buying those pennies, au-55 sold at auction for $196 in 2007 at heritage. Mine compared too the PCGS site looks to grade higher

Wow. I've got a couple tubes of MS60 or better 1963 D cents. And without finger prints. I'm not joking. I'm looking up '63 D sales info.

Here's a recently completed ebay sale of a '63 D slabbed by PCGS at MS66RD -- $89.

That was an AU-55 1963-D struck on a dime planchet. Yours is a pocket change coin worth face value.

Mid-AU with some issues. I'd say this one is a spender.
