SamCoin Pillar of the Community United States 3237 Posts	Posted 09/24/2020 09:47 am "Die slice" isn't something I've ever heard used. It would probably be called a die dent or just a damaged die. I don't think either of those, although it could be die attrition. Metal burr is very unlikely, since it's inside the rim of the coin and would have been flattened in the strike. I think a lamination or PMD is the most likely answer. Report this Post to the Staff
