Well folks once again I show my ineptitude on my inability in identifying a possible doubled die. I found a 2004 which I checked with Variety Vista DDO's and it shows some identifying marks of DDO 001,2,3 but it also shows doubeling of date, motto, and liberty. So I thought I would take some pics and throw them out to you guys for opinions! I am a little gun shy because my record is not great, but I figure one of these days I might score. Regards

Is it posable to get closer pictures. Not seeing any doubling just normal plating issues.

I think you need to work on cutting back on the glare.

glare is a problem here. Try diffusing your light (think placing a piece of white paper over your light source). I too am not seeing a DDO here.

Note the affected areas. They are all affecting the outside edges of the devices. So this is Machine Doubling. Not a doubled die. Why? No spread on the centers of the devices. On the 2004 DDR all the devices are affected, by what? Spread:

This die also has a DDO as well:

Ladies and Gentlemen, as always I appreciate all of your comments and suggestions. Obviously the key to truth is knowledge. Again my affection for shiney things has clouded my objectivity. Reguards to all!
