Over the years, I've posted about the special edition packaging that was developed by the Royal Canadian Mint ( RCM) - either alone or in conjunction with another Government agency - for some of Canada's commemorative silver dollars (36 mm). The packages always included something beyond the silver dollar and almost always featured informational content beyond what was to be found on the coin's standalone Certificate of Authenticity (CoA).
The Charlton Standard Catalogue refers to these RCM packaging options as "Derivatives." I used this term in the original titles of my posts for consistency.
Here's a list of all the RCM "Silver Dollar Derivative" posts I've created to date - I believe I've covered all of the special packages produced, but I'd be happy to hear about any I've missed.
