This 2016-P Theodore Roosevelt Quarter shows bag hits. and 2 locations with 3 marks in a linear line. Are these the reeds marks from another coin hit? In front of the nose and on the cheek.

Correct. That is just damage to the coin. Not a premium for this though. Just something to know about, so you can move on to the next coin.

Well we et the same questions: "What is it worth?" a lot here. Not concerned as to what it is, just wants to know what it is worth. Probably 75% of the time it is just a damaged coin. I tell them, it is worth was it says on the coin. Damage does not increase the value of a coin.

you are very right there, Coop. I see it as well. I'm going to be posting her some more of my coin for verification on so=called 'errors' that turn out to be PDM vs true error coins. I want to brush-up/learn how to better diagnose coins myself.

So, please keep up the great work you do here with teaching the folks that run through the halls here.

Agree. Fresh, reeded coins tossed en-masse into a large bag will result in reeding hits.

If it's not Reed Marks from coin edge contact, (it is) it could be Nessie, the Lock Ness Monster!

Nessie can't drown. Try as hard as you like, you can't drown a log. LOL
