I'm becoming more and more convinced that you're just trolling us. There is no way any human being on earth could say if this is a faint RPM like 1954 D FS-501 from these pictures. Maybe if we could enhance the photo like they do on CSI...
Would be good to have a (very) sharp photo of the mint mark--not a blow-up of a somewhat low resolution photo. For now, the mint mark appears interesting.
Looks like 002 , sorry , the die scratches look to be easy to west from cents , and the scratch through the second l of Monticello , the line outside the south east corner also , everyone is different on how to look at this photos , for me Izoom in on the whole page with my phone , it helps alot
@lc2424 looking at die markers before matching the actual mint mark position and doubling to the variety is a recipe for failure. I see no evidence that this is an RPM.
@chip I'm not saying that RPM-003 isn't the same as FS-501 (they are the same), what I'm saying is you can't possibly think the picture you posted is clear enough to tell you whether or not this coin is the variety in question.
@sam , I see your point , and yes you are not going to hurt my feelings being honest , when I zoomed in I can see an extra raised line all the way around the center of the mm
