Purchased from a local auction along with a few other coins in a lot. The auction photo was really poor, so it was a bit of a guess at whether the coins would actually be decent or not.

Very little wear if any, but difficult to evaluate because of the heavy toning.

Were the photos taken using a 'warm' light source? Curious about the white balance.

My apologies for the lousy photo and poor white balance. I just used my phone because I had to take down my camera set up and move everything out of the coin room because...well, my wife made me. I adjusted it a bit so it looks more like the actual coin.
Personally, I think in hand the coin is a VF-35 or XF-40, but a strong strike.
