Quote: Bump 111, those are really nice! Yes, looks like they just came off the showroom floor! They're in 2x2s now and put to bed with my other British items. Thanks again Rob!

Quote: looks like they just came off the showroom floor! The 1971 bronze coins were, unusually for the UK, made available in rolls of 50 of each denomination wrapped in polythene. In the late 1980s I bought a roll of each for face value from a dealer who just wanted to get rid of them. I only have a few coins left now!

Hmmm don't want to be pushy but not sure if any of the E-mail (the one on CCF)has gone through. I have some one wanting to trade not sure if you also interested before I mail out?

Well, I'm throwing in the towel, packing up my camp and going back inside. I have given up hope that it will show up...

ryurazu - it's weird. I've responded to all your e-mails, even if just by a short acknowledgement. My response was basically that I'm having so many problems with mail to/from the Southern Hemisphere at the moment (I have friends and family in NZ, Australia and South Africa, none of whom seem to be getting my mail!) that I'd prefer to leave it a few months before trading with anyone in those countries. Maybe will give it a try around Christmas time if mail seems to be moving better by then. hfjacinto - thanks for passing on the stamps!

Thanks. Received the Uncirculated 1973 EEC 50 pence (Hands design). Very nice coin. Was out of the country, so sorry for the late reply.
