Seems honest people get banned by paypal

Online CD Sales

We are still waiting for PayPal to approve the reactivation of our online payment feature for Jim Sinclair's Gold Compendium. These folks (PayPal - an E-Bay subsidiary) redefine "arbitrary" in terms of their dealings with common folk like us.

In any event, we are all caught up with our advanced mail orders (which were payable by check) and are working on mailing out the online orders we received before PayPal concluded that our sales volume made us suspect.

We haven't given up with online sales yet and invite suggestions from readers who have had success dealing with this internet behemoth which is becoming a fossil before its time.

Even though I've never had any problems with PayPal and use it extensively, I'm aware that it doesn't take much to get into trouble with them. PayPal's usual response is to freeze the account of someone (or some business) with no warning and with little apparent reason. As a precaution, when my balance gets up to an uncomfortable level, I transfer a large chunk to my own bank.
