Both are replicas of ancient Greek coins, I believe. Which is good news, since doing that to a genuine ancient coin would definitely ruin it. And those are modern clips, not ancient ones. The ancient Greeks didn't have patents.
The top one is a copy of an Athenian "owl" tetradrachm. The bottom is a copy of a tetradrachm of Lysimachus, king of Macedonia and Asia after Alexander the Great.
