Dumping all my cents soon and decided to just keep 5 or 10 of each year. Started through a roll of 1961 cents to keep the best ones.
First one - toned a bit ugly from being at the end of the roll.
Second one - nice MS-63/4 all red.
Third one - nice reverse,

Looks like the mint harmed that coin in a weird way in 1961

I looked deeper into the roll above. Seems a bunch of them have fingerprint stains, so not "mint" roll. Looks like someone probably looked for obvious errors in a mint bag and rerolled with a machine that rolls each end.
I did find another coin with an error, that continues the attack on the queen. A piece of different coloured metal in the neck !

Poor Liz also has a shiner. I thought it was dirt and that the dark rectangular spot would just come off but it wouldn't. Maybe a struck through ?

I also found many have a "hanging 1" (shows on the original coin in the post) .
