Are multiples of the new loonies (Loon & Rings, Terry Fox, Flying Loon & Rings, Splashdown Loon) worth keeping, or should I just keep the best one I find of the bunch?

Thanks!

that may be just a personal choice as to how much you like them. I keep all good condition loonies I find from any year. I love the terry fox ones so I keep all of those even in terrible shape. I like them all really. I dont really know if they appreciate in value any but I love them so I keep them. it really is up to you how many loonies you want hanging around your house. lol

lol, Thanks - I probably have around 10 right now, not including a bunch of token dollars. I guess I'll just keep the best of them unless I really like the design - like the Terry Fox, and Splashing Loon.

Just a point of possible interest. I believe that there are 4 varieties of the Terry Fox dollar... all are variations of the tree(s) and grass in the background on the reverse.

edit... well, at least I remembered there were varities without me book!... VVV shows what I know about circulation VVV ...

These are the Terry Fox coins I am aware of:

1. TF (Regular)
2. TF Missing Grass
3. TF Dot (by D in D•G)
4. TF Chin Wart (on QE)
5. TF Chin Wart, Missing Stones
6. TF Hairy Chin Wart
7. TF Copper Tone

Item 7 is quite rare (only 1 so far?). It seems to be along the lines of 1950's chrome 5c coins with missing chrome.

I also seem to remember a reference to the "haunted forest" variety, anyone else know anything about this?

Found stuff on only 2 types

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loonie

http://cgi.ebay.com/CANADA-1-00-X-2...TY_W0QQitemZ270337326519QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_2?hash=item270337326519&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72:1205%7C66:2%7C65:12%7C39:1%7C240:1318%7C301:0%7C293:1%7C294:50
