Hello all, I found a beauty of a 1964 D that is really Georgios circulated nickel in a bank roll today. While I realize that there are a high mint number (1.8 billion) this coin shows some wear but is truly a remarkable survivor! Take a look at the Pics and let me know your thoughts. Regards!

Classic '64 D from worn dies--nice and near fresh. MS64 perhaps. First photos make it appear the coin may be plated. Additional pics suggest not.

May have spent a good while in someone's sock drawer.

Impaired proof or plated coin . Otherwise would have been an MS-67+ if not have been found circulating .

tough to grade from piecemeal photos, maybe MS-63, I'm not a fan of the orange peel effect from worn dies

Impaired proof

No 1964-D proofs made that year.

The shine on the obverse is what attracted me. I have a lot of 1964 nickels! None look like this one.

Late die state but a very nice example a very common date, especially from current CRH.
