I had been searching for a nice proof Morgan to add to my collection but was not able to make a deal thus far. This coin came along and looked very nice so I picked it up. Thoughts? Thanks!  1890 was the year with the lowest proof Morgan mintage at 590. The 1878 7TF had a lower mintage of 250 but combined with the 500 1878 8TF coins, 750 1878 proof Morgans were issued. Nevertheless, the 1878 7TF is the scarcest major variety of Morgan proofs. Looks beautiful. Do you have any photos of it that aren't as blurry? Hard to see actual surfaces with these photos.

I'd venture to guess PF66 or better.
Hope the crappy pictures aren't hiding something.

As others have stated, tough with these pics. That said, looks to be a real beauty! I'll take a stab at PR65 CAM. Looking forward to better pics.

Interesting as Heritage lists it as a Buy Now. I was able to add it to my cart before cancelling. According to Heritage it is still for sale.

Yes, I bought it earlier today. I was told it was sold to me already.
I was able to post much better pictures. A second thought on the coin if you haven't looked up the coin already, and even if you have, is most appreciated.

Beautiful! The lighting on the reflective surfaces can hide imperfections, but based on these photos, it looks PF65, likely CAM.

i think you found a really nice proof example. the obv is just stunning. PF65CAM. the reverse might hold it back from a 66 grade.
if the reverse looks better than the photo it could be as high as 66DCAM. cant wait to see the in hand photos when you get it so i'll leave that grade on the table until then

That is an amazing coin. It's higher than PF65, I think its got to be PF66CAM! Excited to see more photos of this and to know the grade.
