Can someone explain what makes it a Trumpet Tail S. A photo comparison would be great. I have been looking on line for an hour trying to figure it out but can't. Thx
You should have paid for the conservation fee. I'm betting that toning would have been removed. However, it looks to me like they rewarded it for it's originality - CONGRATS!
I've seen other slabbed Washington's with what appears to be rust only way more than this that were slabbed at 66. I'm not sure what they see in this type of toning ( I guess that what it is) as I'm not a fan of this look. to me it looks like a coin that what was stored in a humid environment and looks like PMD...but thats just me.
I had feeling ... since NGC was known for grading higher than PCGS in those years and then PCGS started being less strict (2017 or so) and awarding higher grades.
