This is, definitively, a Magician's coin, and not a "spy coin" or a "lover's locket" or any other possible explanation for a hollowed-out coin, as only a magician would need the penny-head there. How do magicians turn a nickel into a penny, or vice-versa? Now you know. It also clearly shows that two different 1976 nickels had to be sacrificed to make it - there are two distinctly different mintmarks, one on each piece. Presumably this piece is now too "worn out" to fool anybody in a magic show. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
