A friend sent me pics of a coin he recently acquired, and thought others would enjoy seeing this.
Given the simple design, this is a coin you probably need to buy slabbed.

hmmm, interesting. I'm surprised that that issue is in fact viewed as a coin rather than a token issue of some sort. I must agree that I really can't see how one would grade one of these. haha

that sure looks like a challenge to grade--I suppose the scrape on the back made it AU?
I'm most surprised that it lacks a security edge or denticles. Perhaps it was issued in haste?
