Can anyone tell if this is an Edwardian Leaf or a Victorian Leaf please.
The coin is not that good but hey, I'm leaning to Victorian.

Hi Mcshilling

There are good images on the Saskatoon coin club site that highlight the differences between the 2 leafs

I find it hard as well as only have 1 of the varieties. I think I have an Edwardian leaf piece in similar condition. I will take a picture and post it which might help when we are trying to differentiate.

Here's the comparison on the Saskatoon site in case you don't want to hunt around for it.

I couldn't decide for a bit, but these three features says it's Victorian.

I think the leaf at 3:00 position being 90 degrees is the most useful indicator on a worn coin

Check the two photos at the bottom of this thread;

The bottom photo is also of the leaves at 3:00 turned up to show the W shape.

I was looking at those and also found a couple that did not line up with that, but yes I say Victorian.
